Congratulations to Dave's son, Kelly and his new daughter-in-law, Jennifer. Kelly & Jennifer Main were married July 29, 2006, in a wonderful ceremony in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Following their honeymoon in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, the couple will reside in Cincinnati.
Congratulations to Dave's daughter Jennifer Lambdin. Jennifer recently accepted a position at Ohio Northern University as their Assistant Director of Greek Life, Student Activities, and Leadership. Jennifer, and her husband Matt, moved to Ada, Ohio and are enjoying their new location in life!
What's that Smell?
One of our fine CSR's, Marty Tuttle, caught this 6 pound, large mouth bass recently. No word on if Marty was brave enough to eat the fine catch that came from Fostoria Reservoir #5.
Luckily Marty, the experienced angler, had his handy camera phone and Dick's Auto Supply jacket available for this wonderful picture opportunity.
Our fearless leader, Dave Main, was recently appointed to the 2006 Jobber Advisory Council for the Auto Value Program. This is an honor reserved for 10 individuals out of the 4000 locations nationwide! Congratulations Dave!
Congratulations to the Dick's Auto Supply sponsored Arcadia Red Sox of the Junior Pony League. The Arcadia Red Sox were tournament runner's up and performed wonderfully in the field, at bat, and with their sportsmanship!
Great Job Men!
Don't tell Dave's Insurance Agent...
While on vacation in Tennessee, Dave had a little problem on the golf course. As seen above, Dave's cart acted like his golf shot and ended up in the water. With all fairness to Dave, it wasn't his fault...the brake "popped" while Dave and his son-in-law were looking for his ball, 50 yards away. Luckily no one was injured and no property was damaged (except the score card)!
Oompa Loompa, doom-pa-dee-dee, if you are wise, you'll listen to me...
Our favorite Customer Service Representative, April Bibler, won First Prize at the McComb VFW Halloween Party. For those of you who don't recognize the costume, she is an "Oompa Loompa" from "Willy Wonka and The Chocolate Factory". April used our Nexa Auto Color matching system to get the face paint to match exactly!
Unfortunately for April...now staff and customers will expect you to sing like an Oompa Loompa when you're delivering products!
